UCLA MECN Fall 2014?

For those applicants out there that took Chemistry at Santa Monica College we only have to take one chemistry course (10,11,or12) right? I'm just making sure I wouldn't need to take another chemistry course this summer with Epi. Thanks!

Correct. Take Epi online somewhere and save yourself the money.

They actually sent out more acceptances for the MSN programs yesterday. It is helpful to check in on their thread as well - shows that not all acceptances got sent out in one batch for them. Some were updated over the weekend - others yesterday.

I think what I meant was updates for the MECN program specifically, or at least on this board. It makes me uncomfortable that the first big wave went out and the rest of us are just kind of floating in limbo.

@max79 Definitely the worst roller coaster ride ever!! I feel like I've been suspended in that moment just before the first major drop this entire week (and it's only Wednesday?!)

I just tried calling and no one picked up. I wonder if they just stopped responding to people. I wouldn't be surprised! I'm sure the admissions coordinators aren't actually the ones at fault but they are having to deal with the fall-out. However, SOME information would be helpful.

I understand what you mean, just did not want you to think there was NOTHING going on at the SON. I agree - wish all would have been communicated swiftly and equally. Also - to give some hope that more acceptances are on their way....

I'm following the MSN board as well but it seems like although the acceptances were sent out at different times, they were for different programs within the MSN program. I'm not sure what to think anymore.

I e - mailed admissions and they haven't gotten back to me! Which makes me think they are getting a lot of e- mails. So who knows.

The waitlist people are starting to be notified!!! Just recieved an email stating I am on the waitlist and that the next notification should come by April 25........ Stay patient and keep praying. :nailbiting:
