UCI MEPN Fall 2020

Hi Everyone,

Didn't see a forum for UCI's MEPN Fall 2020 application cycle so I thought I would start one! I'll introduce myself:

Recent grad from undergrad. Relatively low GPA but large amount of clinical experience as a research assistant at a large hospital. Hoping it will help me. Good luck to everyone applying!

do you see an option to delete? because i do not.
i would say the weakest one is maybe from the person you have less experience working with? or the one that knows you the least? i am not sure but based on this i know which one i would remove but i just don't see that option!

You are right. I cannot see it now either.

I was able to remove one, what you do is that just keep loging in and maybe you get lucky at some point and you will see your recommenders. I opened today again and I was able to edit, which means I was able to exclude one.

You cannot just delete it but you can exclude one or two.

Has anyone received any communication with the school of nursing specifically? I got an email from UCI Grad Programs, but nothing specific for nursing. No one is picking up the phone when I call either

i still don't see that option. i am worried about how important this is to do..

Hi guys! I reached out to the Graduate Nursing Student Affairs department ([email protected]) on 1/24 and they said, "We hope to notify applicants in the late winter/early spring time."

According to last year's thread, people heard about interviews early/mid March, and received their acceptances by the end of April. I feel like it's really late compared to other schools.

That’s definitely late compared to other schools. It might put me in a tough position because I have already had to pay a deposit for another program ? but would definitely prefer UCI over it. Agh.
