UCI Clinical Nurse 1 2021

Hello Fellow Nurses!

I am starting this thread to connect with those of you who have applied to the Clinical Nurse 1 position at UCI this year, or have applied in the past. Have any of you received any feedback yet? Have you been scheduled for an interview? What is the process usually like, and how long does it generally take?

My Trauma Neuro application now says no longer consideration. Did anyone end up getting an interview?

HI! ? Does anyone have any interview tips for MICU or UCI in general? I applied 05/27/21 so I was surprised when they called me months later on 08/13/21 regarding an interview for 08/19/21. How many people do they usually accept for the cohort or per unit?

Does anyone know where I can find a recruiters phone number/email? Or just how to contact them in general? I’ve applied to multiple positions and never heard back. I have one now that says application received and another that says application under review. I really would just like to know where my application is at.

Hi. My New Grad interview was typical: behavioral, situational, prioritization. Though perhaps, different departments ask different sets of questions?

Each dept hires how many they need, and also at different times from other dept. So a dept could be looking for one or two or more people.  ? Good luck on your interview!

Hey Breanna! How did the interview go? Was wondering how their interview was like from someone who had met with them recently. Hoping it went great!

Hello,

I applied for some positions that were posted Nov/Dec. How long did it take to hear back or have a status change? My application still reads received. I'm wondering if it's because I don't have my license and don't qualify (?) as I graduate this month. Was anyone able to secure a job/interview before receiving their CA license? Thanks!

Hi, 

it took about a week to hear back and my application status changed after the interview. I don’t know anyone that was able to secure a job/interview before receiving their license.

Just to clarify, there are probably multiple UCIs; University of Californina Irvine?
