Hello Fellow Nurses!

I am starting this thread to connect with those of you who have applied to the Clinical Nurse 1 position at UCI this year, or have applied in the past. Have any of you received any feedback yet? Have you been scheduled for an interview? What is the process usually like, and how long does it generally take?

Hey! Thanks for starting this!

I just submitted my application for the Clinical Nurse I position in the Medical ICU yesterday! Where did you apply? and do you know if we can apply to more than one position?

Hi, I just applied to the neuro trauma position. I didn't see the Medical ICU one?

I believe you can apply to multiple positions. I have applied to Surgical Step Down, Medical ICU, and Neuro Trauma. My application status is still at "Application Received" though.

I didn't get any emails but my status changed to "application under review" for the trauma/neuro position today!

Hi there, 

I haven't receive any emails but my status also changed from received to application under review! I called HR to ask about what to anticipate; however I was told that it all depends and time can vary from 2-4 weeks depending on the the review process and the particular need of the unit.

My application also changed to under review, but only for the trauma neuro position, not for any of the other ones that I applied to.

Hi, I just checked RN...the nuero position had been updated to "under review" ..however the other positions have not changed. Let us know if you guys got contacted! hopefully we hear something in the coming weeks
