UCF Summer 2018 Second Degree BSN

Is anyone else applying to the Summer 2018 Second Degree BSN cohort at the University of Central Florida? It seems like it is taking forever for the actual application to open up (January 1).

Hoping to see some other folks just as excited as I am!!

Got an email from Charlenne today and she recommends us to register for UCF transfer orientation on April 6th... But the thing is that date is closed. What I saw is that we can still register for May 11th.. other available dates will be too late since we need to get it done before May 14th...sigh...

Does anyone know what day the actual program begins? I'm trying to figure out how soon I need to move into a place in Orlando.

Also, if anyone knows how to join the UCF community/network on facebook, please share. I've been having trouble figuring that out.

The program starts on May 14th, but the orientation earlier that week is mandatory.

Are you still having issues? I had a hard time too and someone had to send me the link to join the ucf community. If you send me your full name I'll look you up on fb and send it to you. If you have a super popular name, give me some extra info so I can make sure I send it to the right person.

Any other waitlist-ees still on this board? I think I just received the dreaded "alternative options" e-mail. I was just hoping to connect and commiserate. I am also curious if anyone else has also applied for the traditional program in Cocoa.

Yup! I got the same email! Luckily I got into UF, so I'm just going to continue doing their requirements before starting. I did apply to Cocoa though.

I was just offered a seat off of the ABSN Waitlist. I was also offered a seat in Daytona for the Traditional BSN and waitlisted for the Cocoa Traditional BSN.
