UCF Nursing

Does anybody know anything about exactly how compettive UCF's bsn program is to get into??

I am currently at a community college and i have been accepted into the RN program there and was planning to complete my BSN with ucf...But i was looking online at the catalog, and im only 3 classes shy of being able to apply to go directly into the BSN program ...anybody know anything about it? average GPA maybe?

I know. And the waiting period to find out is so long. I only applied to UCF. As of right now, I don't have a plan B, so I am really hoping that I get accepted. How about you? How many places did you apply to?

I applied to ucf, uf, fsu, and unf since nursing is so competitive to get into, and since my gpa isn't amazing,I just had to apply to more than one.

Thats great that you applied to so many places. If you were to get accepted to all of them, which one would you choose to go to?

Gosh....I really have no idea. lol I've never actually seen UF and FSU's campuses so as of right now, i'd go anywhere!!! lol i'm so nervous I won't get in anywhere and won't really have anything to do next semester :/

Hey everybody! I also applied for Fall 2011 UCF Nursing bsn program. I have a 3.5 gpa and an 84 TEAS score. Staying positive and applying to multiple schools is imperative, especially if your scores look anything like mine lol. I've been accepted by FGCU nursing so far....waiting to hear from UCF.

my application status....

Applied to 7 schools. 1 rejection. 1 acceptance.

Ms.NurseWannaBe...I feel ya! I have a 3.56 overall GPA, and 3.77 prerequisite GPA with a 81.2 teas test...so you're doing better than me. I so regret not applying to FGCU..but i'll apply to their spring semester if I don't get in anywhere else for fall. Good luck!!! :)

You applied to a lot of places, so I'm sure that you will get accepted somewhere. I wish that I would've applied to other places too, just in case UCF falls through. I'll keep my fingers crossed for the both of us :)

I applied to UCF Nursing and just received a letter saying I'm on the wait list. Does anyone know how many people are placed on the wait list? I'm really curious as to what my chances are of getting accepted. My overall GPA is 3.37 and I got an 84.7 on my TEAS. I know my GPA isn't that great, so I'm surprised I'm on the wait list, but of course the fact that I wasn't rejected got my hopes up.

My friend was put on the waitlist too. When she called CON, they told her that there were 40 people. Good luck to you.

I just switched into nursing and my gpa isn't too hot but i am positive i can bring it up to a 3.3-3.4. It's most likely not good enough for the basic BSN program, but does anyone know if it is competitive for the concurrent ASN to BSN program? Thanks and good luck everyone!

Does any one know how long the BSN program at UCF is im going to GCCC in panama city and i plan on moving to the orlando area soon and just would like to know.
