UCF 2013 Fall-Orlando generic BSN applicants?

Published

Starting a thread for others applying to this program!

Oh wow that makes me feel a little better

Yes!! I don't think the cut off will be At 3.7 either...

And I'm pretty sure the reason they raised

The teas from 73 to 78 is cus most of the ppl who have applied in the past got atleast that!! That test wasn't the easiest to get A score in the 90s so I'm hoping they think around 85 is a good score

I also think they may have raised the teas requirement to get fewer applicants. I honestly thought more than 452 people would have applied

Me too!! Last year, the number of applicants was about 650 or a little more, my roommate told me!

And to be picked out of almost 500 applicants is still amazing!!! And remember, last year they didn't have to go threw an "interview"

I would say we're all pretty darn strong :)

True. I mean I'm happy either outcome for me. I just want to know already

@appi-us idk! I feel like to get the best experience u should be involved in ur school. Just at my community college I'm an officer for the honor society, citizen scholar, SGA delegate, and an active member of the environmental club! I just enjoy being active and have a passion for volunteering, because I also volunteer at multiple places too. :)

That is awesome! I am involved with SNA and we have a great team right now :) I really hope you guys will find out soon if you got accepted...my guess, since you already made it this far you have a very good chance of getting in. I am actually very glad the CON started interviews this year because it already weeded out some people who weren't dedicated (such as the no-shows). Nothing is more upsetting than someone taking up a seat to realize during the first semester that "nursing is not for me" ect. There are plenty of serious students who would have gladly filled that seat! Good luck and maybe we meet at your orientation:)

Thank you for your advice!! I'm hoping we hear back by next week cus this wait is torturous!

I don't understand why there are people that take all the time and energy to get into nursing school then leave.... I could understand if you had a personal/family emergency and had to leave.

I really hope I get in! I would LOVE. To go to UCF :) everything about the program attracts me.

There was one girl in stilettos at the 130!

I was 1:30 too! I might have seen her, but the girl I saw looked great, very professional. So maybe not the same girl? As far as I saw everyone was well dressed and was taking it very seriously.

She looked nice it just wasn't appropriate I think! But there was a girl in a polo which I kind of though was strange!
