UCF Daytona/Cocoa Spring 2016 Hopefuls

I know this is a little bit early, but I am excited and a little anxious! UCF Cocoa/Daytona is my number one choice, and I am applying for the Spring of 2016! Is anyone else planning to apply? I look forward to hearing from everyone. We are in this together!

Not yet...I'm assuming that they will reply on Monday with our instructions and MOA

I was also accepted to Cocoa Beach. I'm moving from Orlando to Cocoa. Are you guys going to live in apartments in Cocoa?

I haven't decided yet. I've never been to cocoa except when I drove past it on I-95. It takes about 45 minutes to get there from UCF via the 520.

Have you found any good places to live over there?

I haven't decided either. I'm waiting to see if the 45 min drive each day doesn't drive me crazy lol

Does anyone know where to get HIPPA and HIV training certification? :) I found an online class, but was wondering if there was anything else. I got my certification 2 years ago in one of my classes and need to update it!

I'm sure when we receive our MoA it'll say where we need to get it done. I don't want to jump the gun and find out I took the wrong version of all of those classes.

I just really hope they'll give us enough time to take care of everything. I have sooo much to do O_O

Hey! Congrats to everyone who has been accepted. I have been waitlisted for both the Daytona and Cocoa Program. Does anyone know about the waitlist situation? Do people usually end up getting in?

I called today and they aren't allowed to disclose how many students are on the waitlist or what your position on the list is. They said that they usually expect that of the students who are accepted, 5-10% not to attend, but people will be updated as spaces become available...
