UCF Concurrent SSC/VCC Fall 2013

Hey guys! I have been searching to see if anybody has started a thread for those who have/are applying to UCFs Concurrent Programs! The ones I am interested in are Seminole State's and Valencia's Concurrent Programs. Has anybody else applied to UCFs Concurrent Programs for the Fall of 2013?!

@livingadream Thank you! I see from your posts that you went through a very similar situation as me: I was wait listed during the last application period as well. Good for you for sticking in there! I was so discouraged, I didn't have as much anxiety this time because I was sure I'd either get wait listed again or not get in at all. Have you heard much about what the concurrent program is like? Do we follow the AS-RN tract class and then just take the extra classes at UCF?

For those accepted at SCC, does it say when your orientation is?

anyone else here use their ucf emails for both apps? apparently, knights email is going through maintenance and is going to take a week to get back up. anyone know of a work-around?

also, does the email say how long you have to accept or decline your seat?

5/10/13 is the day you need to accept your seat by if you're in the waitpool, not sure about what it is for those who were accepted.

Upgrade was on May 3rd, so a week later would be the 10th. Just keep checking the email because it may be up and running sooner than that.

That worked for me anyway. We have until May 10th to accept our seat in the program. You have to accept both seats UCF/SSC. :nurse:

I got into VCC/UCF concurrent program! So excited! I only received an email from UCF though, haven't received anything from valencia yet.

I still haven't received an email from SSC ): I've checked every email I have!

I finished my prereqs in Spring 2013. TEAS was 84 and GPA was a 3.48.

They most likely have 3 different mailing lists: those that got in, those that got wait-listed, and those who are denied.
