UCF Concurrent SSC/VCC Fall 2013

Published

Hey guys! I have been searching to see if anybody has started a thread for those who have/are applying to UCFs Concurrent Programs! The ones I am interested in are Seminole State's and Valencia's Concurrent Programs. Has anybody else applied to UCFs Concurrent Programs for the Fall of 2013?!

Hi GabrielsMomma4!

Congrats on getting in to the Generic Program! When did you finish your pre-reqs?

Got into the Concurrent as well! Congrats to everyone and can't wait to meet everyone :)

Hi!

When did you finish your pre-reqs? Did you get into SSC/UCF? What was your TEAS score? I didn't have a high enough TEAS score to apply to the concurrent program, so I applied only to the generic program at Seminole State. Unfortunately, I didn't get in this time.

Hi! I Finished in fall 2012, got into UCF/SSC, TEAS was an 80. And I heard that last semester people who didn't get in at first got a call the week school started with an open spot! So don't get discouraged :)

I finished my prereqs in fall 2012 and got an 82 on the TEAS.

I finished my pre-reqs in fall 2012 as well, but like I mentioned earlier, my TEAS score was not good enough to get in for the concurrent. I will work my booty off over the summer to increase my TEAS score so I can apply to the concurrent program. And who knows, maybe I will get a a week before school starts due to an open seat. Thanks for the encouragement, and congrats to you for getting accepted!! By the way, I cannot get my science portion of the TEAS exam higher than a 60%. Any tips? I studied the McGraw and ATI book, but many off the questions seemed kind of off-the-wall...not anything I studied in the study books. Thanks!

I finished in the fall of 2012 as well, but could only apply to the generic track. Any tips on improving my science score on the TEAS? That was my worst.. Thanks and congrats to you!!

The way they do tuition is that you take the rate for Seminole/Valencia credit hours and multiply that by how many credits of those courses you are taking as well as UCF's rate and their credits.

There's a website called benchprep that has TEAS practice questions for each section and 4 practice tests as well... Definitely worth the money. Also, on quizlet you can find a lot of note cards for TEAS. Repetition and memorization of the major things was what helped me most. Hope that helps!! And good luck!

Thank you so much! That is a resource that I have not looked into yet. I will check it out.

YAAAY! Just found out I got accepted into the SSC/UCF Concurrent for Fall 2013 also =) Congrats to all of you who did as well.

I am SO EXCITED! In total disbelief... Wish I could read the letter again but the email server is down because UCF is upgrading, what timing LOL!

I finished my pre reqs in Fall of 2011. The first time I applied I was waitlisted, this was my second app for the concurrent, and they finally accepted me. Dont give up!
