  1. Congrats!!! Me too!!!
  2. Congrats!!! I got in as well. Yippeeeee!
  3. Thank you so much! That is a resource that I have not looked into yet. I will check it out.
  4. I finished in the fall of 2012 as well, but could only apply to the generic track. Any tips on improving my science score on the TEAS? That was my worst.. Thanks and congrats to you!!
  5. I finished my pre-reqs in fall 2012 as well, but like I mentioned earlier, my TEAS score was not good enough to get in for the concurrent. I will work my booty off over the summer to increase my TEAS score so I can apply to the concurrent program. And who knows, maybe I will get a a week before school starts due to an open seat. Thanks for the encouragement, and congrats to you for getting accepted!! By the way, I cannot get my science portion of the TEAS exam higher than a 60%. Any tips? I studied the McGraw and ATI book, but many off the questions seemed kind of off-the-wall...not anything I studied in the study books. Thanks!
  6. Congrats rn-in-progress2013! When did you finish your pre-reqs?
  7. Hi! When did you finish your pre-reqs? Did you get into SSC/UCF? What was your TEAS score? I didn't have a high enough TEAS score to apply to the concurrent program, so I applied only to the generic program at Seminole State. Unfortunately, I didn't get in this time.
  8. Hi GabrielsMomma4! Congrats on getting in to the Generic Program! When did you finish your pre-reqs?
  9. For those of you that got in to the generic Seminole State program, when did you finish your pre-reqs?
  10. Just received an email stating that I was not accepted into the Seminole State Generic RN program. Apparently, the applicants who qualified finished their pre-reqs prior to the Fall of 2011
  11. I know! My TEAS score was only a 73. My GPA is 3.5, and pre-req GPA is 3.7. I didn't finish my last pre-req until the Fall of 2012. I keep hearing that they are 2 years behind. I spoke with a girl at school that finished her pre-reqs in the summer of 2010, and still hasn't been accepted. This will be her third application into both the generic and concurrent. She has been scoring in the 80's on her TEAS exam. I am so nervous. If I don't get accepted in to the generic track for the Fall of this year, then I am going to study my butt off to get a higher TEAS score over the summer so I can apply to the concurrent program for Spring of 2014. What about you? Is the this first time applying? When did you finish your pre-reqs?
  12. I'm starting this thread for those of us who applied to the Generic RN track for Fall 2013. I am anxiously awaiting a response from SSC. I am a little bummed that my TEAS score wasn't high enough to apply to the SSC/UCF concurrent program. I would love for everyone to reply to this thread once acceptance emails and/or denial letters arrive. Thanks!
