UCF- Accelerated BSN Starting Summer 2012

Anyone applying for UCF's Accelerated BSN program beginning in Summer 2012?

FYI- from what I understand, we won't be able to see our degree audits for a while. It's not because we have not yet been admitted to the nursing program - in fact, it has nothing to do with that. The degree audit is available to all UCF students, regardless of their programs. But, the degree audits are completed by the semester of admission. When I called (numerous times! I drove them crazy, lol) in January trying to get my degree audit to show, the admissions office told me that they were just getting around to doing the degree audits for the students who were admitted for the spring semester, and that they wouldn't get around to the summer degree audits for quite some time.

So... since we are all applicants for the summer semester, it's sometime before the summer semester that we should be able to see them. Has nothing to do with the nursing program.

That being said.... is it Friday yet? I am dying to know!

My overall GPA is a 3.5, but my prereq average was lower because they wouldn't take my psych class. So it was around 3.2. This year I have retaken a couple courses and my prereq average is 3.7. TEAS score was a 90.

According to the advisor I spoke to, the traditional track is harder to get into. They take more people, but have twice as many applicants and most of them have been working toward the BSN program since starting school so their stats tend to be higher. The only thing going for the traditional track is you can choose to go to Daytona campus, and that ups your odds. :o)

Wow those are some pretty good stats to not get in last year, that worries me. Hopefully your new prerequ grades will get you a new result.

Psstt..... I can see my degree audit today!

Now you guys have my hopes up that seeing my degree audit might mean something with regard to the nursing program. EEK!

Anyone else able to see it that couldn't before??

I've pretty much counted myself out of having any real shot at getting into the program. That being said...the waiting in order to know for sure has still been very tough.

Um.. I can see mine too... IDK if this is a good thing. Trying not to freak out in any event. The wait needs to be over I am literally dying! My world is on hold until Friday and I am checking this thing like a freak while my students are testing... not good.

Does anyone know whats University Req and Prerequisite?

@Pinkstring: I think University requirements are ALL of the courses you have taken for your previous degree(s) and pre-req GPA is just for your nursing pre-reqs... Don't quote me, but I am almost positive that that is what it means.

...Although, my university GPA appears to be much lower than it actually is according to my first bachelors (my first bachelors states I have a 3.78 and my degree audit says 3.54). Something looks odd at least for me. But the pre-req GPA looks the same 3.88.

I have never used the degree audit function. What do you do after you click the degree audit tab? When I click it, it shows my name and ID and major: nursing pending. Request degree audit blah blah blah

Click 'Submit Report' then the 'Results' tab.
