UCF- Accelerated BSN Starting Summer 2012

Published

Anyone applying for UCF's Accelerated BSN program beginning in Summer 2012?

@akinney: Then your degree audit will appear. You need to put some information into those tabs. I kind of had to play around with it for a few minutes so I do not remember the exact steps. But, good news it that it will be visible once you do those steps. Sorry for the convoluted answer.

My GPAs are off too.... hope this doesn't affect my application! But I guess it's good that we can all see the degree audit now..?

@akinney: when you log onto my ucf go under "student self services" then click "student center". once in "student center" look under the academic section and towards the bottom should be "other academic" click the down arrow and click on "degree audit". once there, click on "submit report." after you click on that scroll down to the bottom of the screen and click on "result". on the result page click on "view audit" and you should be able to see it.

:)

I just figured that they used a prereq with lower GPA (they used Gen Socio instead of Gen Psych, I submitted both since I did them) so that's why my GPA is lower :(

Feel like puking now, it's making me nervous. Urgh.

Thank you everyone for your help, I can see it now. My gpa stats look about right. I noticed they used sociology for me as well Pinkstring and I too took both psych and socio but luckily for me I earned an A in both. I would email them asap if I were you because it does clearly state you can use either one and it wouldn't be fair for you. Maybe they are not using psych anymore? Anyway, I think the degree audit being up means 1 of 3 things for us: They finished making the decisions (I hope), they haven't started making decisions (I hope not), or absolutely nothing because they just happened to finish all approvals and enter them today (most likely). I can't imagine why degree audits being up would mean we are accepted but that would be nice lol. Either way hopefully we find out Friday. I'm glad I have a job to keep the time passing but it sure doesn't do much to keep my mind off it. I was hoping to be able to see the TEAS score on the audit to make sure it is correct but I guess not.

I know what you mean, but try not to stress. It is what it is, right? Hopefully we'll know soon.

I have an X on University Credit Hour Requirements. Does anyone know what that means?

I have that red X too..I believe that is just there because we haven't put in our time as students as UCF yet. Nothing to worry about. I have to agree that seeing our degree audits doesn't mean we are accepted. It would be amazing if it did, but I doubt it.

I am feeling a bit frustrated as well with these pre-reqs. I got my degree in Psychology so I had to take both Statistics 1 & 2. I received a higher grade in Statistics 2 yet I am seeing that they counted my Statistics 1 grade. I always thought they would look at Stats 2 since it is a higher course number. I'm definitely going to email someone about that. Do you all have suggestions on who to email? I'm assuming College of Nursing.

Apparently you can't change it after you click submit. I have a B in my chemistry and I did 8.0 credit hours in chemistry (A levels) and they counted it all, even though you only need 3.0. Sigh. I already feel rejected, honestly. I emailed and said it's not fair because someone can get a B for 4.0 or 3.0 and it won't be counted as 8.0.

I'm not sure how we would have been able to change anything if we hadn't hit submit???

For non-UCF students, we still would have to go to a regular orientation if we get into the absn right?
