Hi, I'm new on here. Congrats to everyone that got accepted! Also, good luck to those still waiting! I was wondering if anyone is commuting from south Brevard County? I will be commuting from Palm Bay and would like to carpool in order to save gas.

Does accepting a spot to the SSC-UCF concurrent program automatically take you off the UCF accelerated waitlist?

@ BlueSkies8263 - Yes it does immediately. Unfortunately you cannot wait to see if you get removed off of the waitlist for the accelerated and accept a seat in the concurrent program. UCF will take you off of the waitlist once you accept another program.

That really sucks... Maybe that is why they are waiting til this week to send out concurrent decisions, because I believe we have 2 weeks to accept our spot.

They give you 10 days exactly to accept an offer.

I applied to both programs. I would much rather go the accelerated route, but I'm definitely not the gambling type. I would really like to know my exact position on the wait list if it came down to making a decision like that!

I agree Protas but, they won't even give us an exact number because it is against policy or something like that!

I agree protas.. Hopefully concurrent emails come out Friday so we can wait up til may 1st (last day to be called from the waitlist) to accept our spots!

Have those of you on the waitlist started getting vaccinated or doing CPR training? Those things require a lot of time so I am just curious to see if you all are ready to go on May 9th. I know this is so stressful, but I am confident that some of you will be in the program and I look forward to studying with you in a few weeks! :paw:

Wait I thought the program started the 14th? Does it start the 9th?

It starts May 14th but orientation is on the 9th and 10th I believe. I agree ZEUS&LINCOLN it is a good idea to be prepared so if we do get a last minute call we are ready! Last year a couple students were called the day before orientation!
