UCF ABSN 2021

I haven't seen a thread for this application cycle yet, so thought I'd start one.

Mine is a page and a half. It has all my previous jobs, colleges, skills, awards, and volunteer experience

Thank you for replying.. So one thing I'm having trouble with is the objective. Like, they say they want a current resume but we are all trying to switch career fields. So obviously what my current resume would have if I were seeking a job in my field is definitely not the same as a nursing objective. I'm sorry for all the questions.

I don’t think an objective is mandatory. Just keep is simple and straight to the point. They love short straight forward resumes. They just want too see your previous experiences

Why is UCF so dang complicated?  I applied to both ABSN and fall BSN. I feel as if they make everything a process. Obviously we can’t apply into two UCF semesters at the same time. Like by the time we find out if we didn’t get into the ABSN program is that even enough time to apply for fall at ucf?

? I feel you. It's been a wild application season!

 My transcripts are all wacked now because I tested out of some Gordon Rule hours via AP exam. My official UF transcripts have I completed those credit hours and the admissions page never said AP were needed (only asked for IB). But for some reason it's showing up that I haven't completed my general education ??

It takes forever to request and unarchive/send AP scores from college board. I've been talking to admissions a bunch so hopefully it'll get resolved soon. ?

Hi y'all!

Tbh, I'm losing hope with the UCF application because my prerequisites are still pending ?I turned in my application on January 2nd too. I called admissions and they have all my transcripts. I had two of my classes substituted/waived for the prerequisites. With this, I still have a pending verification on my prerequisites section. I don't really have a plan B. What is everyone's plan B at this point?

Awww mine are still pending too. I submitted mine a little later (1/11 though). Someone suggested that I go check out my transcripts in myKnightAudit. If you scroll all the way down there's a sections III. and IV. 

It looks like my pre-reqs have gone through and are registered in their system because it all says "satisfied". So I am thinking maybe it has to do with an advisor having the time to personally flip through my checklist.

OMG yes I feeeel that! It’s so frustrating. I recently found out UCF doesn’t accept one of my prereqs taken at FSU even though EVERY OTHER FL NURSING SCHOOL DOES! And they never even told me I has to ask them!! Now I’m going through the whole petition process and I found out next week if they will approve it. If they don’t I probably will either have to take it at ucf during Summer or hope I get into another school!!

Whaaaat that is so crazy!! I am so sorry you are going through that stress ? Definitley not fun. For some reason I thought we only had to petition if it was an out of state school or if you were coming from a private school. I hope you hear good news soon!!

Thank you! I know me too. I was so shocked and sad when I found out they didn’t take it. I definitely didn’t expect that at all. They even gave me all green check marks on my app since they approved/accepted the other 7/8 prereqs. Like seriously if I hadn’t emailed to make sure they would have never told me. I’m definitely leaning towards the other schools

Me too I am going to just keep it at one page and hope for the best. Good luck to you as well.

Is anyone going to apply for the fall program? 
I don’t know anything about cocoa and Daytona? Which place is better?
