Just starting a discussion board for the UCSD Nurse Residency Program, July/Aug cohort... hope we can keep each other in the loop.

California State University, Stanislaus (RN-to-BSN)
and Modesto Junior College (ADN)

III. What floors/departments/units are you applying to?
(in order of preference)
1. Emergency Department (both)
2. Burn ICU
3. SICU
4. Telemetry PCU
5. PCU

I just interviewed for a New Grad RN NICU position and was wondering if anyone else has as well? I'm also wondering when we will get the results or what's next?

Got an email to submit my references yesterday! Hopefully will get the final decision soon?? good luck to everyone!!

@newgradrnsd0313, Hi did your status change after they asked for references or is it still on the "Consideration for Interview"? Good luck to you! hopefully you hear some good news soon!

Mine still says "consideration for interview" ?

SICU at Hillcrest! It took them about 2-3 days after to call me. They will look at your references and make sure that they check out and I believe they're also scored. Which department did you interview for? NICU right?

@Skadooshbubbz0825, yes NICU! Ahhh how'd the call go? I want this so BAD LOL sorry for all the questions! I wanna start ASAP. Did your status ever change also?

Status won't change until after you get a decision. Mine changed to accept once I accepted the position. Your start date will likely be within a month or so. You have to do background, physical, and all the paperwork. The call came from the nursing manager telling me they wanted to make me a final candidate for the position.

Hi guys! Anyone hear back from L&D? I had an interview on may 25th and it still says pending interview decision
