Hey guys! I wanted to start this thread for those of us that have applied to the UC Davis RN residency program for the August and October 2017 start dates! This is so exciting! Let's keep each other updated and support each other along the way!
All "Route" means is that it's been forwarded to the hiring managers for them to consider who they might want to interview. My experience has been that they always say "Route," whether or not I hear another peep out of them.
I wouldn't take it as particularly meaningful. It can stay "Route" right up until it switches to "Hired" which means that they picked somebody for the job.
Good luck to all of you. It's a great program.

True, it looks like "Route" is a generic status for UC Davis. But, based on threads about previous application cycles, calls for interviews seem to start happening within a week of the status change. So, I'm taking it as a good sign that things are moving along.

And it *does* mean that the application has been forwarded along so the recruiter has at least determined that the applicant meets the minimum requirement.
It's not much but it's a darn sight better than the alternative, to be sure.
