It really depends on the unit and how many they hired... last cohort (July 2014) it was the highest numbers of applicants (1280 applicants) yet with the lowest numbers of spot given (15 spots)...but usually Davis hires about 30-40, I'm just crossing my fingers that this time I will get called for an interview...
Hi I applied to UCD new grad program. good luck all! I hope I can even get an interview at all! so many qualified applicants & not knowing what to expect. My current status states 50-routed. I know it's generic but do some ppl statuses stay 20-applied ?
Does anyone know what type of applicants UCD looks for? For example, do they tend to hire those with MSN degrees more?
Hi! I got a call yesterday about an interview from the peds manager. Mine is only a phone interview because I'm currently on the east coast, but it sounded like she would be holding interviews through at least all of next week. I think all units operate on a different timeline, but some are starting to call! Good luck to everyone!! And if you have interview advice, I'd welcome it--this is my first phone interview!
mine also says 50-routed, I wonder if it's different from 20-routed..I think they started to call for interview on August 15, and the recruiter said the latest they would call would be last week of August, so if we don't hear anything by August 30 I guess that would be it..and I called the recruiter many time they would not specify your individual status..

Even though I'm not going to be able to apply to this residency, I would like others to benefit from this posting.
This morning I was notified that UC Davis is accepting applications for new BSN and MSN grads. This cohort is supposed to begin September 2014, and applications are being accepted now and only for a few more days.
Those of you that can, go for it, and I hope you get in!
