UC Davis Nursing Residency - New Grad Sep 2014

Even though I'm not going to be able to apply to this residency, I would like others to benefit from this posting.

This morning I was notified that UC Davis is accepting applications for new BSN and MSN grads. This cohort is supposed to begin September 2014, and applications are being accepted now and only for a few more days.

Those of you that can, go for it, and I hope you get in!

I just looked at my status and it has changed to 060-Intvw. I'm assuming this means that people have been selected for interviews, and I'm not one of them. I haven't received a call. Do others who haven't received call for interviews also see the status changed to 060-Intvw?

Ah well. There are always other jobs...I think.

I think if we do not hear anything by this Friday (August 29) pretty much it means we're considered for interviews..but you're right there are other job opportunities...

@emoraver: I just checked my application status, and it says "060-Intvw" too. I didn't receive any calls or emails either...

Edit: On Facebook, apparently these generally show the progress of all applications, which means that the units are conducting interviews.

The peds floor is making offers! From what I've hear, in past cohorts the children's hospital has been a little ahead of the game, though, so other units may still be calling for interviews.

I already interviewed and I accepted an offer Thursday! Has anyone else heard things from other units?

Congrats rdobbs_22!! I haven't heard a peep, but I do know people were already getting interviews for a couple other units. I was hoping to hear any news on Telemetry, Step-Down, or even Med-Surg, but no luck here on allnurses or Facebook.

has UC Davis ever sent out rejection emails for any of the cohorts? I've applied twice already, but have never received anything

I don't think they send out rejection emails. I applied for the most recent cohort and received nothing.
