What Members Are Saying (AI-Generated Summary)

Members are discussing the status of offers for the float pool program, with some mentioning specific departments that have made offers for the March cohort. There is uncertainty about the hiring process, with some members receiving offers for the May cohort after initial delays due to funding issues. Questions about specific units, preceptorship, housing, and application status for future cohorts are also being raised.

Hello, wanted to started a thread here for the new upcoming cohort with apps starting this November 2024.

Oooh I'm not sure if anyone is dq'd for lack of experience or not putting them all down. I haven't seen anything about that.

The big file goes under the résumé section yes.

No problem, you're welcome.

Hi, so I submitted my application 11/11, and my status changed from "Application Received" to "Application Under Review" today 11/18. Does anyone know how long from this status will it change to routed?

No idea. Mine still just says "received" so you're further in than I am. Do they have a date that they will get back to us? I didn't see anything on the site.

On their homepage it says it will take two weeks after the final filing date to review applications for completeness and qualifications then those will be sent to the various departments for screening.  I remember seeing somewhere that they'll be reaching out in December/January but I'm not sure about a concrete date.

I'm not sure how long applications will stay in each phase. I remember when I worked there, mine didn't change at all until I randomly checked one day after I was hired and it said "hired" LOL. Some may change and some may not. But it did say it takes a couple of weeks after the final filing date to review the applications for completeness and for qualifications, then they're sent to various departments hiring managers.

Hi there, not trying to make you nervous but wondering if your status updated?

No, it has not. It just says "Application Received."

Tbh the application under review means nothing.   Last round my app went under review quicker than alot and they left my application under review for months and I never heard from anyone. The different units responded at different times to everyone.

Oh no, sorry to hear that 😞  Did you apply again?

I just checked my application & it changed to "reviewed".

I'm assuming that means they checked it for completeness at this point.

It's still super early! They review them to make sure they're complete & weed out those that aren't. The REAL stuff starts happening after about 2 weeks.
