Members are discussing the status of their job applications, specifically focusing on the application status, interview process, and waiting for job offers. Some members are sharing their experiences with reference checks and the timeline for receiving job offers after interviews. Additionally, there are discussions about specific units like NICU and questions about the number of people being hired in the upcoming cohorts.
It's that time, here's a thread for anyone applying to UC Davis' new graduate RN program for the August 2025 cohort.
Good luck everyone !

I was nervous as well! Did you precept there? That was my only comfort— just having some familiarity with the unit.
I asked a couple questions but didn't get to ask how many people they were going to take in these cohorts. Did you get that information?

That's so awesome you precepted there! UCD seems like a great place to learn. Being familiar with the staff and how their NICU works is a huge plus!! I precepted at a different NICU.
I unfortunately did not get any information about how many positions they're filling. Wishing all good things for both of us <33
