Just wondering if anyone is applying for the Fall 2018 UCD MEPN program! And if anyone knows how many applicants they have/ get in?

Hi everyone! So I was looking online and I found the program proposal, and it says, " The program is scheduled to matriculate the first cohort of 24 students in summer 2015. It is anticipated that by 2018 the program will be fully enrolled and sustainable with plans to admit 48 new students per year."

so for our cohort they are planning to admit 48 students. That sounds a lot better than 24!

Hi everyone, I also applied. So glad that is over. I know a girl who is in the 2017 start program. She really really likes it. As for the wait game.. be ready to test your patience, she mentioned that her class didn't start hearing back until end of October. Then, for those who were selected are invited to apply through the UC Davis graduate studies application (for the secondary application) and the wait continues. So for this cohort when do you think we would hear back? October almost seems too soon? I applied as well with a NPB degree from UC Davis and completed postbac at SFSU.

@weeter do you think your friend who is part of the current cohort could share some of her experience with us? Like what he/she found difficult and what kind of support he/she has gotten from the school. Just trying to pass the time. Waiting is the first test...of patience. Anyone applying to other programs?

It sounds like we should hear by the end of October if we are selected for secondary application. After that, it seems we may hear back after the new year. Of course I'm going off the experience of someone else, they may do things differently this time. But it's nice to have an idea..

Hey guys! I also applied to the program. Has anyone heard back yet? I submitted my application but never heard back from them saying they received it. Did you guys hear back or get a confirmation email? Really hoping to get into this program! Good luck to everyone!

@Anaprada - I also applied and haven't heard any word regarding submission. I called last week to inquire when they might be reaching out and I was told, "next year". That doesn't seem quite correct (I just got my acceptance from Johns Hopkins today, and their application wasn't due until August 15), so I would suggest perhaps calling again? Best of luck, all!
