Just wondering if anyone is applying for the Fall 2018 UCD MEPN program! And if anyone knows how many applicants they have/ get in?

I am applying, but I don't know much about the program. Do you know anything or anyone that has gone through it previously? I know it is relatively new and I'm wondering how competitive it is.

I will be applying for the 2018 program as well. I do not have much information on it, but hoping I can get in :) Hopefully more people will add to the thread as well
What school did you get your bachelors degree at and what was your major? Do you have any healthcare experience or volunteer hours?
CSUEB with a BS in health science pre clinical! I have some shadowing and volunteer hours in healthcare as well! What about you?
I have a BSN from CSUEB in business administration. I am volunteering at Kaiser Emergency Department in Walnut Creek. I feel like there aren't very many people with insight on this program. Are you applying to any other programs? Did you apply to CSUEB nursing program? I really want an accelerated BSN or masters entry program because I already have a degree.
I am graduating form UNR with a BS in Biology! I work at the hospital here as a nursing assistant. I am applying to a couple other programs but really want to get into UCD because it will be close to my family.. Wish I knew people who had gotten in!
@kjohn5194 I will not be applying to csueb because I believe they require the TEAS. I will also be applying to UCSF and SF state next year. But UC Davis is my #1 choice, that is the only school I will be applying to this year. I am considering taking the HESI so I can apply to SMU. SMU is super expensive though, about $106k total! I want to get into an elmsn or absn as well. The personal statement for UCD is a little tougher than I thought it would be.

Applying this year and I am super excited and anxious. I got my BS at UCD in Neurobiology, Physiology and Behavior. My husband just graduated and I'm ready to go back to school. I've volunteered in a hospital and student run clinic, worked as a nurse assistant and now I'm managing a shelter for women, children and homeless individuals with chronic mental health.
I haven't heard of anyone who has been through the program, but a friend of mine who was in the nursing school spoke highly of it and I've attended the pre-health conferences and liked what i heard.

Hi! Has anyone submitted their application yet? Does anyone know how many students they accept per year? Thanks in advance!
I just submitted mine on the 23rd. I don't know how many they are accepting this year, but I know that it was only 24 student in the first year of the program.

Hey everyone,
The August deadline is fast approaching, and I just wanted to see who applied for the 2018 program? I have been reading through the 2016/2017 threads and they were really active so I just wanted to try to start this one back up. Also if anyone from the 2016/2017 cohorts reads this please let us know how you are liking the program.
