UBC nursing application 2011

I'm new to the site and I saw the thread for last years appilcants to UBC nursing so I thought I would start one for this year.

How is the application going for everyone, any tips from 2010 intake?

My last name starts with H, and I had my application in on Dec. 31st. My interview is April 12th in the morning. I was a little surprised to be assigned a time; I kind of expected to have a block of times to choose from. Oh well... good luck to everyone!

ok so it is alphabetically. 26 syllables divided by 4 days means 6.5 syllables per day. LOL I know I probably sound weird right now, But application said his last name starts with "d" so it was A TO F people yesterday . G TO L today and So on!! I hope i am making sense :)

My last name starts with A, and I submitted my application on the last day. No worries, they send invitations over some time, so good luck!!!

I got an interview!!! I'm scheduled for april 12th at 2pm. My last name starts with an L and I applied on the very last day too! Oh! And I got the email yesterday at 5pm. Does anybody know how many interviews they send out?!

Its NOT alphabetical!

My last name starts with A and I didnt get mine yet....

They send 200 interviews for 120 seats

JUST GOT IT!!! My interview is on Friday 15th!!

I got my interview this morning :). I think they hand out interviews based on scores. So basically the application index calculated using the supplemental application and the last 30 credits. That's just my take!

Hey guys,

I received my interview at 10:59am this morning!!! I am not sure how they are handing them out, but all of the ideas put forth so far seem very likely! My interview date is on April. 15th at 9:20am, and my last name starts with "S". I am also a UBC student if that helps. Reading all these posts of people going through the same thing has definitely kept me sane! Good luck to all and stay positive! More interviews will be on the way I'm sure! =)

I got my interview at 10:30 !!!! WOOOHOOOO!! My interview is April 13th at 2. Congrats to everyone else who got an interview, stay postitive to those who haven't yet. I do remember them saying at the info session last year that they don't send out the invites alphabetically.

Maybe the order of invitations is due to the date/time of your interview - or completely random?

Congratulations to all of you, I am seeing a slight link between ability to communicate on this website and ability to complete a stunning application!
