Hi everybody! I haven't found an active discussion thread for September 2019 applicants to UBC's BSN program yet, so here is one!

Fingers crossed!! I can't imagine 7 people wanting to turn down UBC though?? I read in last years forum that someone who was like #30 got in off the waitlist though?

Seriously though! I think most people who turn down UBC is because they have received an acceptance somewhere closer to home if they're not from BC. The school is amazing. Also, did Ruxandra send you the email? Is your SSC updated?

No news is good news? I’m assuming if we didn’t get the waitlist email it’s either a rejection or acceptance. Ah the nerves!!!

A lot of people also apply for nursing as a backup to medicine. UBC med admissions go out tomorrow so you’ll never know! Here’s to hoping people get accepted and withdraw their application, moving you up ?

I received an email from Ruxandra as well, SSC is not updated. #34 on the wait list. I want to know the statistics of my chance of getting in.

Admission average rank #3, Supplemental #2, Casper #2.

This is what someone said in a forum last year:

"I was #34 on the reserve list on May 11. I was updated and told I was #18 on the reserve list on June 11. I just received my offer of admission today. Just posting for anyone who is still waiting, or for those who are going to be looking at forums next year!"

It's hard to get exact statistics!
