UALR RN Program Applicant 2015

Published

I just wanted to see who else will be applying for this year? I'm already excited to start classes next week for the last of my pre reqs. I just finished 12.5 years in the Air Force so I have 60 hours of college completed before joining. If anyone else is in A&P I or Micro with me let me know. I look forward to this year in many ways.

At this point, my patience is very little, if any. We don't currently live in Arkansas but we have to plan like I've been accepted. We took our son out of preschool already because of the notice I had to give them. We are going to have to give our land lord notice. My spouse is flying to Arkansas for a job interview. There is a lot of logistics involved for me. I've packed half the house. It would be a shame to be doing all this for not...

They really should started taking applications sooner that January and/or stop taking them earlier and this would give them more leeway with time and it would get us a notification quicker too. Especially on a year like this was where they had an increased amount of apps. I very anxious too but I'm sure they are working as fast as possible. 600+ apps in 30 business days. WOAH!

@HeartZebras

My patience would be gone too since you having to uproot your family and still don't know a definitive answer. I hope you get in!!!

Did they really have over 600 applications? Is that what they told you?

I really wish that I would have applied to multiple schools the way UALR is going now. When I went to my advising I was told that the average applicants were around 400 so I surely hope that it's not 600 applicants but even so the deadline to apply was February 28th they have had ample time to get this done. I need to know where I stand so that I can make my next move.

Agreed! I'm probably on the lower end of being considered a fit candidate for a spot in the program considering my GPA is just a bit above a 3.0 but I need to hear something, whether it's good or bad. I need to plan my next steps as well.

@HeartZebras

Yes, they told me that last week, 600+ apps

Has anyone called today or heard anything??
