Ualr nursing program applicant 2017

Hi, I just wanted to start a conversation for the 2017 nursing applicants at Ualr. It's a long wait until April. We can keep each other updated during the wait.

Is everyone that didn't get accepted put on wait list or are there also people that didn't even get on wait list?

I was under the impression that everyone would be notified whether it be an acceptance, waitlist, or denial. I would hate to be left wondering.

I'm on wait list but just wondering how many get put on that list

that's a good question. I do know that 2 of my co-workers were flat out denied and not put on the wait list.

So I just found out they never got my application. Imagine how I feel. Congrats to everyone that gets in.

Curious...what is everyone plans. Do you plan on working a little? Or not at all. I will have to quit my job because they do not offer part time work. So I am trying to find out resources out there that can help out..I did save my tax refund most of it...but that will go so far. Do anyone know of any resources out there. I will like to focus on the program, but if need be a course I will find something part time.

Hi everyone! My name is Kristin and I have been accepted into the traditional nursing program! I plan on continuing working full time as a PCT while going to nursing school. My weekends are shot for the next couple of years. I just registered for the NURS 1300 class in May and I am super excited for it! :)
