Ualr nursing program applicant 2017

Hi, I just wanted to start a conversation for the 2017 nursing applicants at Ualr. It's a long wait until April. We can keep each other updated during the wait.

Basically, if someone drops between now and the end of June, we could be accepted and take NURS 1300 in July.

Yeah what Shack said! Did it say the end of June or beginning of June we would know? So basically it would start really quick if we get in.

Mine said by the end of June. My dilemma is that my job was paying for my school. The catch is that I have to submit an official acceptance by April 15th. So I'm praying that someone drops or declines by then

Does anyone know if all acceptance and waitlisted letters been sent yet?

I got wait listed but there is hope, a friend of mine told me she got wait listed and she think they told her june 3 becuz there was quite a few who dropped or just did not pass the nursing 1300 class... she said it was more of the nursing 1300 class they told them... and the second set of the class started on July 5 last year.. there are two summer sessions as well this year..

To anyone who applied for accelerated and got wait listed or traditional.. there is still hope to get in the accelerated. She said when she got in the second session off the wait list she got in traditional and they just told her this month she got moved up to accelerated. So she will graduate this December she says. She said they give you chances throughout to join the waiting list for accelerated if you didn't originally apply to be on there in the first place. You just don't get a break in the summer.

I just thought I will share some information, since she is currently in the nursing program at ualr:)

I don't get off my present school until the end of May, and I don't stay in Little Rock, i will not be able to make the first session because it starts the 22nd of May, I will still be in school

are you sure you can't opt out to be put in the second start date for Nurs 1300? I think it starts in July!

Yeah I would definitely suggest seeing your other options if you can do the next session in the summer. You've worked hard to get accepted.
