Just applied for the Summer 2016 AAS-RN program. Long wait until March to find out whether I am have been accepted or not. Thought I would get a thread started for this years applicants!

It was a C average lol. Although I know a coworker and some from other threads getting accepted with C average

I was just wondering if maybe that could have been a factor. It sounds more like your transcripts were the problem. I'm so sorry. I have been where you are. Keep trying...you will eventually land a spot in the program. :)

Was your GPA high? Did you do anything different besides have all your paperwork together when you applied this time? I will just work and save as much as I can for next year.

If you turned in your official and unofficial transcript with an in progress then you were ok. They give conditional accepted letters if it wasn't finished and then they accept or decline you fully depending on grade with your unofficial late turn in. But you did have to turn it in by the deadline with an in progress stated.

At the end of this semester my gpa was around a B+ which isn't the best but I was actually accepted with a gpa that was a little under that. I think if you just retake your worst classes, you will get accepted next year. I did what you did though, I worked full time as a barista and I just took any class that I knew I could do a lot better in. It will work out. I promise! Don't give up! :)

i don't know what building we are in, but we can't put names of people or places on here. They will edit the post and remove any personal info. Sorry. I think it's in the syllabus.
