UALR Nursing Program Applicant 2016

Just applied for the Summer 2016 AAS-RN program. Long wait until March to find out whether I am have been accepted or not. Thought I would get a thread started for this years applicants!

Question to current UALR students: will any awards from FASFA not show up until it gets closer to fall? I'm just curious. I know they don't offer financial aid for the summer unless you had extra from the previous semester.

Yes fafsa is later and both manuals are ready the kits won't be till first week of class they said. The nursing dept has not decided what to put in it or priced it.

So question: has anyone with the book started studying yet? Just wondering. Lol.

Unless it's like a pointless pre req test the first two chapters seem Un needed but ch 29 dives right in.

Well it's kind of an overview of the nursing profession. Probably intended for people with limited knowledge of the profession

I pretty much got the pop quiz down. Kind of unsure how to study for the class I'm sure it'll be more clear when we get in to it. Very nerve racking.

I need to study that. I've been reading through the chapters so that I will have the reading done. The syllabus tells you what the reading is so I figure it's just better to get that done and just refer back to the stuff I highlighted during the course.

(MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) I also have Pell Grant for summer not sure how everyone keeps saying you have to have money left over but I didn't attend.

Interesting, I'm wondering if my pell grant would help pay for it. I've had the pell grant in the past. Hmm.. Also, I have (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) for class.
