UALR Nursing applicants 2018

Hi everyone!

I wanted to start post for all of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock nursing school applicants. Priority application submission starts today and ends Feb 28 but you can still apply after, you just risk being placed on the waiting list. I have all prereqs completed for ASN except Micro which i will take this summer and all completed for the BSN program. My nursing GPA is a 3.5 and my combined is a 3.7. Best of luck to you all!!

Any of y'all plan on working while in the program? If so, where? I'm looking for some part time work. Let me know if y'all know of anyone hiring!

Hey, I'm coming from the University of Texas in Arlington and I have seriously being having tough time with nursing admissions. It's like I have to dig the information out of them. I am still waiting on my letter which will probably take awhile since they are trying make sure my Chemistry and Microbiology I took here match theirs, I know my Chemistry does just waiting to here back from Microbiology. I have already taking all of my prerequisites for upper BSN level as well and I have taking some upper level nursing courses because UTA nursing program requires me take certain ones before being accepted.

Anyhow my pre nursing GPA: 3.1 and my overall GPA: 3.5

If anyone of you can me some information about how the program works there please let me know!

will we receive if we are denied or on a waiting list as well? If we haven't heard anything?

I was told that you're supposed to hear if you were waitlisted or denied. So I would call and ask!

I'm pretty sure they are sending the emails out in waves from past threads I have read from back to 2014 applicants. Some people receive their emails on Friday and so far I don't think they have sent out anymore. Does anyone know if they are sending it out any during spring break?

My friend called on Friday and she told them that the staff left early on Friday so they'll probably start back emailing on Monday!
