UALR Nursing Applicant 2020

Published

Hello,

I did not see any forum for UALR 2020 Applicants out there so I created one. I applied to accelerated program and my GPA is 3.44 in pre req and 3.15 at UALR. hopefully I get in. I only have STAT and chemistry left for both BSN and RN, and I am taking them both right now.

Yes. Transcripts. In my case I had 3 different transcripts that they needed. So we stayed in communication via email often.

WOW! ???

Bummer! The last couple years it’s been the 2nd Friday of the month. Guess it’s different this year.

I’m sorry to get everyone excited! I was going off the last few years dates. My fault.

I didn't get mine last year till the 30th of March they dont usually start sending them till Spring break starts or towards the end going into April. I'm sure that's how its going to be this year since there is no date set yet

I'm so nervous! The wait is killing me I have a 3.9 nursing GPA so I'm really hoping I get in. I decided not to do the accelerated and stick to traditional. Has anyone heard anything yet?

if you applied to the accelerated and not the traditional and you get into that one they will not let you change it to traditional unlessu dont get into the accelerated and they put you into the traditional

Here for the comments! LOL but I have questions since I’ve been reading previous years posts. Do we pay for our own drug test back ground check etc, because depending how on what kind of test and clearance for the background test it could be extra costly! When I worked for the state it was free, All of it.

plus will we need CPR certifications prior to the Summer course? I read even if you do not get the accelerated track you have a chance to reapply for it

You will have to get your CPR license and all the other test as well but I think that's with tuition and as for not getting into the accelerated you cant reapply for the traditional program they will automatically put you in it if you meet the 3.0 pre-requisets and a 3.0 overall GPA.
