UALR Nursing Applicant 2020

I did not see any forum for UALR 2020 Applicants out there so I created one. I applied to accelerated program and my GPA is 3.44 in pre req and 3.15 at UALR. hopefully I get in. I only have STAT and chemistry left for both BSN and RN, and I am taking them both right now.

During the nursing session they said the cost of the Summer program will be ca. 3000. 1500 for tuition and books that may be covered by financial aid and then about 1500 that is out of pocket which includes the background test among other things that will not be covered by any aid or scholarships.

Maybe every year is different??‍♂️

I have a friend in accelerated program that started last year she received $1950 in pell grant, she also received $2000 scholarship and she was offered $3000 in loan but she declined the loan.

Do you guys think if we get accepted into the program, we can still start in Summer?

I think we will still start, it just might be delayed. But I don’t think anyone, including the school, really knows.

I've seen a couple of people mention the Ualr nursing class would finish this Spring semester online as well as the Summer semester....I hope that doesnt affect acceptances soon!

I hope so too. I believed for nursing students, you still have to go to your clinical site. May be only lectures are online. I work at Baptist and I saw about 6 UALR students there today doing thier clinical rotation.

I'm pretty sure everyone will be back at school by the 30th as planned. If we all get in we wouldn't even start till mid may through August for the Summer class.

They stated yesterday that the nursing Spring semester at UALR will be completed online. Pulaski Tech also stated they will finish their Spring semester online in an email yesterday. It doesn’t look like students will be returning to class.

Well then I'm sure they will all let us know Friday if we got in and when classes would start. For the Summer

They said in an email that all classes for the Summer semesters will be online as well. So who knows.

What email I havent gotten an email from ualr since they sent out emails last Friday telling us they were gonna try and get the letters out on the 20th
