UALR Nursing Applicant 2020

Hello,

I did not see any forum for UALR 2020 Applicants out there so I created one. I applied to accelerated program and my GPA is 3.44 in pre req and 3.15 at UALR. hopefully I get in. I only have STAT and chemistry left for both BSN and RN, and I am taking them both right now.

i have a 3.7 in my pre-reqs and a 3.4 overall. Do you know when the acceptance emails will be sent out?

Hello everyone- I applied for the LPN to RN track!

My Pre-Reqs GPA is a 3.3 I’m currently enrolled in A&P 2,Comp 2 & History hopefully I do well enough to raise my GPA a little more. My overall GPA is a 3.0. I would only be missing Microbiology & Chemistry after this semester I already to Chem Lab just missing the class. Praying I get in ???? Goodluck to all that has applied!!

Hi, on the forums from 2019 & 2018 I seen that people usually recieved them like the 2nd week of March, the week before spring break & some afterwards but some didn’t hear back until April so I guess it just depends on how many applicants they have!

They will start sending it out on March 15th. I can’t wait

Is UALR the only school you applied for? i went ahead and applied for Baptist as well just to have a backup choice. I went to the group advising session and the guy made it seem like 800 people apply and only around 200 get in so it left me doubting myself.

I plan to take the Teas next week so I can apply at Baptist for back up.

Hello everyone! I also applied to UALR’s Nursing program for 2020. My nursing prerequisite GPA is a 3.19, not the best, but definitely hoping for the best! ?

I only applied to UALR. Baptist LPN to RN only accepts in January so if all fail with UALR I have baptist in mind for the spring next year. I also went to a ore advising session and yeah they make it seem like sooo many people apply and they only accept like 200-300 depending on the space.

They do have alot of people apply and dont sendup getting in due to accepting people before grades post if put on the wait list. That happend to me last year. I applied for the accelerated this year since I'm not taking any classes and my GPA is 3.36 overall but if you dont have atleast a 3.0 in the 8 pre-requisets they will waitlist you till the end of Spring semester. Just a heads up. Since I have applied here before and didn't get in due to those things I mentioned.

Oh WOW!, I have a 3.19 as my prerequisite GPA, and all of my classes completed, so I’m hoping that’ll help my chances of getting in! Super nervous
