Between FNP, WHNP, NNP, PMHNP, and Nurse Educator at UAB--Does anyone know which is the most competetive? Which track is the easiest to be accepted into?
I'm having a hard time narrowing down my choices!

I think you need to consider which field you are most interested in rather than which is easiest to get in to. If you love Peds and get your WHNP just because the program is less competitive you could end up miserable.
That's the problem. I have equal interest in all of those programs. I'm currently a NICU nurse but, while I love my specialty, am unsure if I want to always be in a hospital setting. I could see myself enjoying women's health, family, or even psych nursing. WHNP seems like the closest fit considering my background. I love teaching and eventually would like to get my DNP though, so family seems like the best long term choice. But then there's the Nurse Educator program, so.. I just don't know.
I know exactly what you are saying. I struggled with FNP vs MSN with concentration in leadership or informatics. Very interested in all that. It ultimately boiled down to 2 things for me. 1) not a great job market for nursing leadership/informatics in my area and 2) FNP is so versatile that you could possibly qualify for leadership/informatics role with an FNP.
I would think that might be the same for you as far as the versatility of the FNP. I know FNPs who work in mental health, Peds and Women's health. The only issue I can see is if you want to work in a hospital setting you would need that NNP.

You can always do the FNP and then get a certificate down the road for education.

I'd say go FNP if that many things interest you. I wouldn't limit myself to a specific area if you don't think you want to spend your entire career in it. That's just my opinion though. I'm currently in the ICU and PRN in MH so I clearly can't make up my mind either. ha ha.
