UAB Fall 2016

Hey everyone. I have applied to the Acute/Primary Peds NP program at UAB for fall 2016. I am currently driving myself crazy as I wait for my acceptance letter!! I figured I would write this post to see if anyone else wanted to be crazy with me while we wait!

I am a student at uab and I have a blazernet already, and none for me either...

I can officially log in to Blazernet!!! (Not a previous student//don't work at UAB). I have 5 holds and pediatric primary care nurse practitioner is my concentration! I'm so excited as this was my first choice! Good luck to those still waiting, hoping to meet some of you this summer!

Anyone else here apply for AGPCNP? Still nothing for me. It has never let me activate my account. I'm not sure if I did something wrong originally. But when I search to see if I have a blazer ID, it is only my name with some numbers and letters afterwards and not what I had chosen for my blazer ID. I'm really starting to panic now.

I made my blazernet a few weeks ago. No previous student or employee. I have been checking it daily and today it went from undergrad studies to family nurse practioner forensic and I have an advisor and 5 holds now

Still nothing for me. Now I am starting to get very disheartened. So happy for those of you who have gotten in though! Congrats to you all!!

I'm still not even able to log into blazernet.... Let's not get sad yet

I panicked and tried to sign up for a blazer Id again. It actually let me, but what I noticed is my first password was not 15 characters in length. This time it made me do 15. I'm not sure what this was about since I signed up weeks ago. It worked and I'm able to now log in. My first choice was FNP, but I got AGNP. Congrats to all that have been accepted so far and good luck to the rest!

Mine is the same. Can't login, of course. I'm kinda disheartened, but... I'll hang on to hope until I get a definite no, I guess. [emoji53]

How did you create another. I definitely didn't have 15 either

I clicked on register blazer Id and did the whole process again. It's worth a try. I'm still confused about it. After creating an ID again, I received an email for veriifcation of blazer id and phone registration.

I've been trying that for a while. It says that I've already registered one, but when I look to see if I have one it only shows my name with letters and numbers. i'm thinking this is bad news.

If you are a current uab student go to your homepage and if you can select future curriculum, you can see what program you got accepted to! I'm so excited :) It says Fall 2016 GR-nursing concentration psych mental health.
