  1. Has anyone on this post completed the KSU FNP Program? I'm curious to find out if you felt prepared to take the certification exam and get a job as a NP. I can't find stats online regarding pass/fail rates nor via the board of nursing.
  2. I've heard that the program is very competitive to get into and that it's a great program, however I can not find any details online to support this. I have called the Georgia Board of Nursing for pass rates for the exam and they said they do not keep that info. I called the school for pass rates and they don't have numbers either. I just want to make sure I will be prepared to sit for the exam and get a good job when the program is complete.
  3. Yes. I got accepted for fall but I'm waiting for my admit packet in the mail. The one I got via email said classes are every other weekend. I'm not sure if that's Friday, sat, sun or just sat, sun.
  4. Very very important to look at what u plan to do with your nursing degree.... Hospitals in Birmingham AL have began to phase out hiring ADN nurses and are requiring those who are already hired to go back and complete their BSN within a certain time frame.... If u dont plan to work in the hospital, that may not affect u (as there are many areas nurses can work)...Have u specifically looked into a second degree nursing program.... Some schools allow u to complete that in 1 year accelerated--in contrast to 2 since u have a bachelors already.... That's the route I took... Good luck with your endeadvors...
  5. Also many CONGRATS to you all accepted!!!
  6. So glad u said that because I was thinking this... I was out of town for a week and I hadn't received a rejection letter yet... I'm still keeping hope and prayer.... Thank you for your kind words :)
  7. Has anyone else waiting applied to the AGPCNP w/women's health subspecialty??
  8. Sooo I tried calling IT and the guy asked are you a student or employee. I told him I'm an employee and used to have access but that I had recently applied for graduate school then proceeded to tell me maybe you are not officially a student yet.... I'm so nervous
  9. I'm still not even able to log into blazernet.... Let's not get sad yet
  10. I still can't log in either; trying not to get overwhelmed in deep thought!!! Hope today brings results for everyone!! Best of luck!!
  11. I wasnt able to log in at first but today it let me log in and create a student ID or pin #.... once I logged in, I click enter Blazernet and i'm still getting the same "not authorized" message. Might I add, i'm already employed by UAB so I already had a blazer ID but today, creating that student ID and getting semi blazernet access was new.
