UAB AMNP 2020 Applicants

Hi! I didn't come across a thread for the upcoming UAB AMNP program applicants so I decided to create one. I am still working on my application at this time. I'm super nervous because I don't have any patient care experience and my undergraduate GPA isn't great. I have a master's degree already in another field and my GPA there was pretty good. I'm working on getting some volunteer/shadowing experiences before submitting my application so fingers crossed!

I’m applying! I just have to finish the essay to turn it in. Honestly, I’m super nervous because I have no volunteer experience. I have plenty of customer service experience though. My gpa and GRE score was okay in my opinion. I’m just hoping everything is good enough to get me an interview.

Has anyone who has submitted their application heard anything back regarding interviews or anything? I submitted my application last month and have only received an email from Mrs. ****** regarding my prerequisites.

@taylorh3464 From looking at previous threads you will not receive an email about interviews until early October.

@taylorh3464 Ms. ****** told me they will not start sending any interview invitations until 3-4 weeks after the application deadline.

@Cassian14 Did anyone ever respond to you about the transcripts? Mine said unknown school because it wasn't in their database. It was updated after transcripts were received.

Today is the day! I hope everyone got everything submitted. I got an e-mail extension of September 19 for remaining documents.
