UA MEPN 2019

Published

Hey guys I know we have months before the application due date but I have just recently decided that I am going to apply for UA's MEPN program. I'm currently finishing up microbiology and will finish off my prerequisites once I complete organic chemistry in the fall. I am extremely excited and also nervous to be applying. I still have to take the HESI so if you guys can offer any tips on how to prepare for it especially the vocab section that'd be great! Does anyone know how many apply vs are accepted and the stats of those who are usually accepted into the program? Also I'd greatly appreciate any insight on how the program is from students that have graduated from the program or current students of the program. Thanks!

I thought that once we got the official letter of admissions from the graduate college then we would also get our information for the castlebranch. Did anyone else get that or no?

No, not yet.

Does anyone know how to apply for an IVP FCC card from out of state? I'm from Colorado. I just received a non IVP FCC card and found out it's not the right one for the program. I don't know where can I have my fingerprint done for IVP FCC card and how do I submit it.

Hi guys,

Is it possible to take more bio/chem courses to raise the pre-req GPA, or is it just the 8 pre-reqs listed on the website that you need a 3.6 in?

Thanks!

Marina.

Taking additional classses will raise your last 60 credit gpa. If you want to raise the pre req gpa you can retake those specific classes. They still see every grade from the pre reqs but only use the most recent in the gpa calculation.

Anyone else still waiting on that grad school acceptance? My gradapp still says processing and I’m thinking of giving them a call

My grad app still says all my transcripts are “required” even though they have received them. That includes my high school transcript as well...which doesn’t make sense to me.

I’m still waiting on my grad app to be processed as well ?

Sounds like we’re all in the same boat then! Even the few that got the email don’t seem to have the castlebranch log in anyway

I was just getting worried bc they mentioned an acceptance date but didn’t say when that was

Mine was confirmed only yesterday. I bet you’ll get your acceptance today.

I just got the instructions to sign up for CastleBranch.
