It's never too early to start talking! I'll be applying this fall for the 2017 cohort. Who else is applying? Are there any current or recent alumni that can give their insight on the program? What will the interview questions be like?
@ashepp I did the AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers certification course a couple years back and it took about a half day for the class, and then the test immediately after. You should be able to find a class pretty easily I think. My certification has expired though so I'll need to do it again as well.
They are correct -- takes about 2 hours. You can search and find a course near you. You will get your certificate the same day.
As far as the Grad School acceptance; that is just a formality. However, you will need official copies of all your college transcripts; so if you don't have them -- get them ASAP. It has a pretty short turn around time to get that done. Other than that -- it is pretty easy. You will just fill in your credits and I can't remember if it cost anything. Follow the directions -- they will only accept the transcripts in the way they tell you. Last year you had to bundle them all together and send them in ONE package to the CON. They will get very annoyed with you if you do not follow directions!!
Here is a search tool for classes; just plug in zip code. Make sure it is the healthcare provider BLS.Class Connector Search Home- American Heart Association
I got to into the Phoenix campus! That was my preference because my boyfriend is starting the physical therapy school at Midwestern in Glendale this May, so we will be relocating together to the area from California. It seems like everyone here chose Tucson! Haha anyone get into Phoenix?

I just got my acceptance too if I turn in the paper work and get accepted into the UofA grad college. Have any of you been accepted to the graduate college yet? Kinda confused about that!
