It's never too early to start talking! I'll be applying this fall for the 2017 cohort. Who else is applying? Are there any current or recent alumni that can give their insight on the program? What will the interview questions be like?
@cyclone67 when we met with the current cohort after interviews I heard about the mentorship opportunity to pair up with a current student for guidance. Is there information about that on the CON website or is that something I would need to figure out by joining the fb MEPN page?? I would appreciate any info you have about this!!
I second this! @cyclone67, I want you or either of the other two in your group... if you three choose to participate.
Does anyone know how many people are waitlisted or what are the chances of being admitted?
Based on last year, if you are waitlisted -- you have an excellent chance of getting in. I was on the waitlist literally for about 1 day and then got picked up for Tucson. I know quite a few people that started on the waitlist. Lots of people apply to multiple schools, as soon as they send in the declination -- they'll pick off the list. They won't tell you anything about where you are on it; so don't bother asking! They will call you directly to let you know -- so make sure you have your phone ready!! I assume that if you don't answer - they'll send an email. Just be ready to go and prepare like you're accepted and then when you get picked up you won't be stressing over last minute items. I would just hold off on things that cost money (like uniforms).
Good luck!

You will be getting information later. They send out a questionaire, I think they try and match you with a mentor by background. Once your mentor is assigned they will email and as soon as you're in town you will meet up in person. It's very helpful!
