U of A MEPN 2022

Published

Hello everyone. I am applying to the U of A MEPN program this fall for a May 2022 start. I'm super nervous and excited. Anyone else? I have not taken the HESI yet but will be doing so toward the end of Nov. Any advice?

I've kept working at my job which is remote, but it only takes 10-15 hrs a week usually. It's been manageable but I'm also married and so my husband helps take care of some chores and such (but also, being married and pouring into my relationship takes time from my schedule too!). Previous cohorts have told me if you have a very flexible job, it's doable, and I would just reiterate that. But not working would be BEST.

Also, when yall do get your acceptances, if the book list doesn't change much, I have some free pdf books I can share because I don't want people wasting money on more books!

When will we find out what books we will need and how will we know if they are the same?

You'll find out pretty quickly! And last year, they told us if we had to buy them new because it was a new edition or if we could use previous editions ?

I'm hoping we find out if we're accepted in the next few days! Last year's class found out on February 12, and their interviews were due on the 1st I believe. ?

I agree, I have been checking my email so many times in hopes that they get back to us early. I am hoping that we hear back this Friday since that would be the same timeframe they found out last year. Cannot wait to just know! Are you hoping for Tucson or Phoenix?

I'm hoping for Tucson! Since I am originally from Phoenix, I put Tucson down as my preference and that I would be open to Phoenix as well. However, I did my undergrad here in Tucson and have been here my entire adult life. My fiancé and I also have an apartment here we would like to stay at if I get Tucson. What about you? :)

I put Tucson only. Hope to hear soon though. Good luck to you and hopefully we can meet soon!

I have a question for everyone.

Have anyone started their finger print card? If you have finished it, how long did it take you from start to finish? Thanks.

I completed mine last august and if I remember correctly it took about 4 weeks to get it back from when I sent it in.

I just got mine in the mail yesterday. It was very quick and easy for me. It took less than 5 minutes at the fingerprint clearance site and then was mailed to me a week and a half later!

Which website did you use to get the fingerprint clearance?
