I couldn't find anything on the upcoming semester at TJC for the LVN to RN bridge program so I decided to create one for all of us prospective. I have been an LVN for about 3 years graduated from Kilgore College in 2013, but for the past year completed Pre Reqs and have this hunger to go back for RN. I just completed the GAP test Tuesday 4/12 and am reviewing all of the papers to fill out. When I talked with the ladies in the office I was told that this year is more of Hybrid and noticed that there were 3 different classes on the admission for (I applied to all three just to open up my options). Im currently living in Arlington but plan to move back to Longview area at the end of the month since my lease will be complete. Are there any others out there who have already submitted applications back to the campus or any other information about how this program will operate?
"A second email containing important information about course registration, uniforms, textbooks and orientation will be sent shortly, so please be checking your TJC Student Email Account."
Did everyone get this second email with all the info? Because I didn't. I was accepted into the traditional program.

I received my acceptance email yesterday and was wondering the same thing.
Lvn pm in tyler.... i didn't get into the rn program but i guess next time
Thats awesome also, I am currently an LVN and have had a great time learning and talking with other nurses, just look at it this way when you finish LVN school you can bridge to RN which is less competitive, and you will also have some first hand experience and an advantage to already have been in nursing school once before. Not to mention the fact of making connections that you can call on after RN

I got alternate for the hybrid program. I wonder what the cutoff score was- on the checklist it took more into account than just the gap. Congrats to those accepted!
