Tyler Junior College Hybrid 2020-2021

TJC Hybrid LVN to RN starting in 2021. Has anyone else submitted their application? Anyone know how many they take and what scores usually get accepted?

I also got a reply regarding my TEAS exam scores. They stated they werent part of the point process.

I got the TEAS score email previously, before our due date to verify our points were correct. I asked about my scores not being on the "points" email. They replied that it wasnt part of the scores. 

Then a few minutes ago I got the email stating that there will not be any interviews due to COVID.

I also received the email stating they are going off points. I have 35.15 pts and it did include my TEAS which was 61.3.

I'm not sure how many points are possible..

GUYS THEY CHANGED THE POINT SYSTEM EVERYTHING IS WORTH MORE. Go to the RN admissions guidelines!

That's crazy. I thought that the whole point of you sending that correction thru the Summary Email stage where they fix it!

They had to add my Verification of Good Standing Form and when I got my summary response, they fixed it.

Fortunately, it didn't initially affect my pts.

This is a copy of the email I received regarding the TEAS exam score not being included in my points. Am I misreading it?

"Nursing Admission Team review and response:

Applicants to the LVN-RN Transition pathway are not required to complete the ATI TEAS exam. Applicants must complete the RN Fundamentals and Critical Thinking exams. You have met the entrance exam requirement for your LVN-RN Transition application.

Continue to check your TJC student email account daily. An email will be sent on Monday August 31, 2020 regarding Stage Two: Multiple Mini Interviews"
