TJC Hybrid LVN to RN starting in 2021. Has anyone else submitted their application? Anyone know how many they take and what scores usually get accepted?

I didn't think on this part that they factored in your TEAS score. And I don't understand the District Status part. I thouggt you where in and got 1 pt and just service area was 0.5 pt.

According to TJC's definition online, you are either in District, service area, or not. I am not, so zero points for me there.

Also, if everything looks correct, we just don't do anything??? Feel like I should at least say hello.

I did the submission and copied and pasted the email address from the emailed attached my scores and put my name and A #

I called them they found mine!

Anyone back here to hear  the next step. I send them a response with my TEAS scores, did not call to follow up but I assumed they have received it. my total points were 46, not sure what that means. Lets motivate each other while we wait.

I feel like my points were of and not right.

Arnt TEAS points multipled by .30? My points are wrong guys. I’m sad. Bummer

Its just crazy that I followed guidelines to apply and now they say its for RN traditional. So they said I have 12.66 and 4.75. How do they do this. So messy in this application

Yes I too felt the same in  how  the admission guidelines did not clearly differentiate LVN transition from generic RN admission. The point distrution system is not the same.

Hello everyone!

I'm sure we are all half crazy now waiting to see if we get MMI progression emails tomorrow. I applied for both Traditional-RN and the LVN program. My first response stated that I didn't qualify for the RN program because I withdrew from 2 courses in a previous BSN program! (which I later passed those classes, and they were not Core nor Health Science courses).

However, I am at least eligible for the LVN program totaling 35.15 pts. Please let me know if anyone my fellow, future classmates get an email tomorrow!

Goodluck everyone :)

Is it safe to say that if you get an MMI appt, that your basically chosen?!

Anyone know anybody who had MMI and didn't ultimately get in?

I think it could be a good sign but I wouldn’t call it safe because I’ve read some post from previous all nurses tjc applicants and I remember one who had an interview and was not chosen.
