TWU Spring 2018

Hi!

I haven't seen a thread made for the TWU Spring 2018 application process, so decided to start one! I'm the type to worry, and I know I'm not alone, so what better place to vent than here? For anyone wondering, the application date for Spring 2018 is August 15th, 2017!

My GPA comes out to a 3.720 with TWU preference. I haven't taken my TEAs yet, but plan to soon.

How about y'all?

Okay everybody, I emailed Heather Close a couple of hours ago and she just emailed back saying she hopes to get acceptances out at the end of next week! Sorry I could not be patient anymore, I had to be the one to bug. Good luck everyone!

Just out of curiosity - did anyone else receive the "Your application has been processed" email back in July?

I did on July 12th, I believe that is because I submitted my application right when it opened

That's great! I received mine on July 13th but noticed that most everybody else received theirs these past few weeks, so of course I'm nervous about that (for some nonsensical reason). :) I also submitted around the time applications opened so I bet that's why. Thanks, kellim1990!

No problem, but yes that definitely was starting to make me nervous too, so I had emailed about that also a couple weeks ago and she said I was good. It is just every little bad scenario runs through your head to make you think of what could go wrong. But she confirmed with me I was good even though I received that email months ago.

Yes, I believe so! Good luck! I feel ill prepared as well, but we got this! Do you happen to know how much this test is worth? I know that the tests are all weighted differently

Under the grading section of the syllabus

"At the end we will four exams or 400 total."

A little confusing because in the same section I do see it say that the different exams will have a different amount of points.

I was nervous for the patho exam as well but it turned out alright. We are covering so many chapters for the next exam x.x
