Is anyone out there applying to TWU for the Spring of 2010? Just thought that I would start a group for all of us hopefuls so we could share information and have a way to communicate with each other.
Have you taken your HESI A2 yet? Have you taken all of your pre-reqs? If not, what do you have left to take?
I have taken all of my pre-reqs, and I just took my HESI yesterday. I didn't think it was bad at all, but I prepared for it for about 3 weeks.
If you haven't noticed, TWU has made some slight changes that I think some people will not be happy with. They are taking into consideration the first grade made at pre-req attempts for several of the classes like A&P, micro, and another class. What do you think of this? I wonder how it will change the applicants chances of getting in?
Good luck and I look forward to meeting you!
hello! i just wanted a little advice...i just got invited for interview at UTMB..and even though that doesn't mean ill get in i just don't know if i should go because i already accepted TWU's offer..what would you do? which school do you think is bettter and why? TWU is more convenient for me but UTMB was always my first choice..
I would go for the interview. Otherwise, you would probably be playing the "I wonder..." or "What if..." game with yourself. Why is UTMB your first choice? I don't know about UTMB's program so I can't help a lot. Definately stay committed to TWU, and if you get the acceptance from UTMB, make your choice then.
There is an open house tomorrow at the Houston campus which should include a tour of the school...I think I'm going to go to that...it starts at 8am!!! Hope to see ya'll there
i went to the open house a couple weekends ago, they didn't let us see the labs or anything, so i was kind of diappointed in the whole thing. the beginning is a bunch of people talking about different things, but its mostly on how to apply, etc. so it wasn't useful
I never had the chicken pox vaccine but I had the chicken pox...they aren't going to make me get the vaccine are they or just the blood test?
They will want a titer on you. The doctor will draw blood and test it for chicken pox immunity. They will want a copy of the lab report for the varicella titer.
