Is anyone out there applying to TWU for the Spring of 2010? Just thought that I would start a group for all of us hopefuls so we could share information and have a way to communicate with each other.
Have you taken your HESI A2 yet? Have you taken all of your pre-reqs? If not, what do you have left to take?
I have taken all of my pre-reqs, and I just took my HESI yesterday. I didn't think it was bad at all, but I prepared for it for about 3 weeks.
If you haven't noticed, TWU has made some slight changes that I think some people will not be happy with. They are taking into consideration the first grade made at pre-req attempts for several of the classes like A&P, micro, and another class. What do you think of this? I wonder how it will change the applicants chances of getting in?
goopsy, technically they make the decision first on weekend programs, cuz if you don't cut it for the weekend they consider you for the regular program...but I don't know! I will definitely keep you guys posted! I am scared more than anything...its approaching so suddenly!
It IS approaching so suddenly, right? I knew they made the weekend decisions first, but maybe they went ahead and finished the weekend program, and already added whoever didn't get into the weekend program into the regular 2 yr program. Then they mail everyone's acceptance at the same time? Idk, I'm just saying...
Its pretty lonely being the almost only weekender here...it would be almost be cool if I got into the regular program, and then I could hang with you guys.
I think it's so funny! I always hear in my class (Denton) how terrible the prof at Dallas is and then y'all (taking it in Dallas) say how terrible you've heard the one in Denton it. lol!
Although it is really hard to get all of the notes down, he only tests on the notes! He does let us record lectures. Not a lot of use of the book.
On our first exam the average was like a 77.
I kind of like his teaching style, but I'm an auditory learner! lol
