Thought we can start a thread for all who are starting in jan at TWU.

I just recieved my acceptance letter yesterday. Very exited. Would appreciate any input from seniors at TWU.

Hey guys,

I applied to TWU-Houston for Spring of 07 and I haven't heard anything yet. I feel sorry for the mail man, he probably thinks I'm stalking him by the way I run like a wild woman to the mail box every day! Eeeekkkkkkkkk... where is that mail man?!?!?!

Has anyone else who applied to TWU-Houston and who lives in Houston gotten their letter yet? I know they mail them from Denton so it should take maybe 4 days to get here.

Good heavens... I really want to get that letter!!!

Congrats on getting accepted to TWU!! Just out of curiosity, what made you choose TWU over UTA? I'm planning to do my graduate work at TWU but am sticking with the closer distance of UTA for now. Congrats again!

Thank you so much. Distance is the main thing I think made me decide towards TWU. I live in Allen driving upto UTA is like 75 mins driving. And I heard a lot about TWU program, all this made me choose TWU over UTA.

you're welcome. hopefully some more info will come in. i'll bump it. well i didn't get in but i'm going to try once more for fall and this time apply for both locations. i had a 3.8 but didn't do so well on my second try at the net, i shouldn't have taken it over. just curious to know what your scores were if you don't mind?

sorry about your admission. but dont let that stop you, do all that you can to apply for next semester. i always believe that something negative happens so that we value the possitive much more. dont worry, better luck next time. i applied to dallas campus with a 3.8 and high net (i think almost 95% not sure have to go look back). apply to all schools possible, nursing school is getting way too competetive.

aww thanks for the encouraging words. i'm going to have to add that to my favorite quotes. i will read more to do better on the net and come back with a bang. anyways i'll leave this thread alone for what it was intented for (i hate thread jackers) lol. see you in the fall maybe. bye
