I was wondering if i will have to take all 5 classes as stated. or can i take patho in summer? what would you suggest?
If patho is taken in the summer, it's usually the summer before you start the nursing program - I don't know anyone who started the program then took patho the following summer. The first semester seems like a lot, but you'll only have clinical one day a week (and you start in Feb, I think) so it *is* doable!
hey thanks a lot for the good words.

Get a planner and stay organized! Don't get too behind on reading (you will get behind though because it's impossible to read everything), remember it WILL get better and nursing school doesn't last forever, don't judge nursing as a career by clinicals, do make time for yourself to have fun, always carry a few extra pens (for clinicals and class)...and.. erm... that's all I can think of right now.
Stay organize, plan ahead, for patho if u have dr. da cunha study the notes only, he breaks down path to an elementary level and i never used the book. He is one of the best teachers. Pharm the same thing the notes, i would definitely read the book for assessment and therapeutic but that is just my opinion. Have fun and try to learn how to manage your time.
